Daytona Cubs Baseball Game Daytona Beach Reviews
Take me out to the Ballgame Jul 06, 2011
The Daytona Cubs (minor league affiliate to the Chicago Cubs) play at the Jackie Robinson Stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Tickets are $7, and that's for all seats, whether you sit in the bleachers in the blazing sun or in the chair seats beneath the canopy. The first two rows directly behind the field are reserved for their season ticket holders.
Between innings, there are games to entertain the crowd. And, being Sunday, kids were allowed to run the bases after the game. (And, arriving early, the first 100 kids got a free t-shirt).
The guy selling the beer and peanuts and other baseball game goodies was super friendly and an entertainer. You could tell he loved his job. He made me want to buy something from him!
Going to a Daytona Cubs game is fun, just like any other baseball game. The Jackie Robinson stadium is just a few blocks away from the beach, easily within walking distance. There is limited parking available.
