Hard sand, warm winter days and the excitement of that first motorcycle race on the beach that made Daytona Beach the home of Bike Week since January 24, 1937. Could it be the spirited activities (aka BIG TIME PARTY 24/7) surrounding the event that keeps people coming back year after ye…

Ah, so what more could I ask for than spring break in Daytona Beach? I had visited Daytona in 2006 with the family and when I had enough money to plan a spring break trip in 2008, I chose Daytona Beach. I went with my brother, his friend, and was later met there by my boyfriend. Daytona is a great …

Chimney Rock in NC is like an 18th century town 1 hour southeast of Asheville. Very quaint for those who love to get away from it all and the stressers of everyday life. Also, imagine hiking where "The Last of the Mohicans" was filmed.

If you would love to go to Daytona Beach and miss the crowds, go in late December. Oceanfront resort very affordable and no crowds. The people at Daytona were so friendly and also St Augustine which is a very old, but great city to visit. It has a lot of history. The Kennedy Space Center was also worth every minute
