Nice Cheap Hotel Jul 15, 2009
We liked the Days Inn Oklahoma City West. The rooms was spacious, but not nearly as big as their on-line pictures lead you to believe. They were clean and we slept well. The air conditioner did not work as well as we would have liked, but we didn’t swelter. We didn’t take advantage of the pool, but we would grab a bagel from the morning breakfast each morning.
The location is on the west side of the city, but we didn’t find that to be a disadvantage. As it is essential to have a car in OKC to get around, the hotel has excellent highway access, and the traffic was no problem, we were able to get anywhere we wanted to go in minutes. We picked this hotel based on price and ratings reviews. We paid $65 per night, including taxes. We thought it was a good value and we would stay there again.
