Days Inn Siegen Lane Baton Rouge

As you probably read my last review about the other Days Inn hotel in Baton Rouge, you might not wonder why I chose another one instead. I wasn't going to repeat my "gangmare" experience of that night.

So, as I was coming back from New Orleans to Ruston, I decided I was too tired to drive and would stay in the first decent hotel I would find on the highway. I saw an ad for a Motel 6 (with WiFi, strange) and was going for it, but then I saw the Days Inn sign, and I said "Thank God".

The staff was super friendly. A nice thing to start with. This room was slightly smaller than the one I had in New Orleans, but still it was great. Same quality. Again wireless internet worked perfectly.

The bathroom was small, but not as ridiculously small as some baths I've had in Motel 6, where you literally have to jump to the bathtub, as you open the bathroom door. One funny thing about the bathroom, though, is that the door had a mirror, that if you leave it open you could see the toilet reflect on it. This means that you could have a "nice" view of yourself "doing your thing" if you ever were curious about how do you look while doing that lol. And if you are wondering where I did that or not, know that I didn't!

So, again, this is a good choice if you are going to Baton Rouge. It's a little bit far from downtown, though. But PLEASE choose this over the other Days Inn even though it takes you twice as much to go where you are going in the city.
