Shahzadi Mandi, Agra, India
Dasaprakash Agra Reviews
Great food Feb 14, 2011
Located very near the hotel area of Agra and about 5 minutes away from Agra Fort, this restaurant is mentioned as a great place to eat in quite a few of the guide books, and with good reason too.
The range of food is very good, with a good balance of north Indian and classic dishes from the south on offer too. The décor and atmosphere is geared to the tourist rupee, and some of the affluent locals and travellers visiting Agra.
I ordered a thali on both occasions I visited here and was not disappointed. The quality of food is very good, and it is spiced very sensibly to appeal to a broad range of palates. Service is quick and polite. They have some deserts on offer too, but these seemed a little tad overpriced by local standards.
All in all, this is a great place to eat. Although it’s full of tourists, the food is very authentic. Recommended.
