Imagine sleeping under the Sahara sky surrounded only by your camels and your Berber guides. Learning Berber star navigation sitting by a campfire. Imagine listening to traditional berber music and enjoying incredible food and hospitality without any pressure.
If a true safe desert experience is what you imagine (and I can certainly recommend it, even if you are considering, like I did, discovering Morocco as a solo woman traveler) check this place out http://www.darsidibounou.com The guesthouse is small and authentic and the staff doubles as your knowledgable Sahara guides. The hot showers and soft matrasses make this place a great start and finish of your Sahara expedition. The service is fantastic, the food excellent and the experience unforgetable.
