I was intrigued by the concept of frozen custard when I first read about this place online before heading south to Belize. Unfortunately, I can't tell the difference between frozen custard and regular ice cream. I'd say that at best, it's mediocre ice cream at a premium price. A 1/3 cup serving costs $ 2 USD/ $4 BZ - and that ain't much for what you're paying for!
We still argue over whether it's pronounced "D'and-ee's" or Dee-and-ease". Let me know if any of you know where the truth lies on this one. I'd skip it and get a smoothie or Mojito at Crazy Mango's instead. |
