To think this is the so-called premium experience.... Feb 15, 2018
For an airport that attracts so many high flying business travellers (mainly due to the excellent technology and biotech companies), its appalling how 3rd world their airport lounges are.

DAN Lounge operates 2 lounges in Tel Aviv airport, with airlines picking a "preferred" lounge (although you can visit both).

British Airways chose to use the lounge farther away from the international gates, but maybe that's a good thing - it's a lot less crowded. Especially for their 730a departure, the lounge really only gets the BA premium crowd.

The lounge is made of 2 big rooms - one room with a breakfast buffet (which during afternoon has a pathetic lunch offering) and another quieter room, with actually fairly comfy sofas.

The overall issue with this lounge is the feeling of suffocation - the rooms are small, the corridors are narrow, even the toilets feel claustrophobic. Plus, they don't lock properly!

Seeing as business/premium lounges are a perque and are free, I won't be advising people to "avoid" it (after all, you don't pay for it). My only advice is: don't expect a whole lot!
