Nice little hotel near Dam Square Sep 25, 2009
The hotel is in a very nice location, pretty much between central station and Dam Square. The rooms are a bit on the small side...but I think that's typical for Amsterdam. There may have been a rule about no food in the rooms, but they didn't seem to enforce it. The staff was helpful, they even told us about the free walking tour, which was a lot of fun. The rooms were quite nice and clean. There are a lot of places to eat around the hotel, and it's within walking distance to most of the major tourist sights.
