A hostel of luxury! Aug 18, 2007
After some of the places we stayed when travelling, this place was heaven!! The guy was really friendly and helpful!
We didn't just have a bed to ourselves here, we had a whole apartment! There was an upstairs and downstairs with 2 bunk beds and 3 normal beds to choose from. We had a bathroom, kitchen, dining room and TV. The room was so clean!!! There was a swimming pool outside too which was fab! Just outside of the hostel was the Bachman lake and park which was stunning!! It is not the easiest place to find and our taxi driver had trouble so make sure you have exact directions. It isn't actually called 'Dallas Texas Hostel', it is something 'apartments' and he uses it as a hostel when tourism is poor. The location isn't amazing, but it is near a bus stop and the buses are fairly regular! It you are sick of camping or awful hostels - definately stay here!!  Part of the USA 2007 travel blog |

Welcome to Dallas Texas Hostel! Dallas is known as the entertainment centre of the Southwest.
Dallas Texas Hostel is destined to become a favourite lodging facility for hostel travelers. We are located on the shore of beautiful Bachman Lake and park only twenty minutes to downtown Dallas.
Enjoy the hike and bike trail around Bachman Lake. Free car parking. Laundry, kitchen, city bus (DART) and more. Bed linens are included in the rate.
