Had a short stop in Dalian. Used to be a Russian and Japanese city. Now a collection of colonial buildings and the best of modern China

A trip to Beijing, Harbin, Jilin, Changchun, Shenyang, Dalian. The coldest Christmas ever!

Nothing here, just a stop while we take the boat to Tianjin. Dalian has been influenced and occupied by the Russians, Chinese, Japanese and Manchurians. There really isn’t a whole lot here to see. The city has areas like Little Russia and Little Japan, etc. It is a busy port city that has no tourist infrastructure. Cheap to eat and cheap goods to buy.
