Dalat Vacation Guide
Dalat is a lovely little town set in the Southern Highlands of Vietnam. A short flight from Ho Chi Minh City, the town is a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities and is a favourite destination for Vietnamese honeymooners.
You can see most of the attractions and get a feel for the town in around three days or take a little longer to relax and enjoy some of the cheap spa treatments available at the hotels. The shops and marketplace are a great place to hunt down a bargain or haggle for a piece of local art.
Highlights of Dalat include Xuang Huong Lake, Linh Son Pagoda, Bao Dai’s Summer Palace, Lat minority village, and the beautiful Flower Gardens.

Even if you spend all day walking like I did the previous day, you still don't get to see much that Dalat and the surrounding countryside has to offer; everything is pretty well spread out. So it's recommended that you hire a mode of transport, usually with a guide, to get to the more far-out sight…
