DakshinKali Mata Temple Kathmandu Reviews
Mar 23, 2004
This temple is famous for the sacrifice ritual they have a few times a week. As I remember it's on tuesday (when I went) and on Saturday - but it's better to check upfront.
Just grab a bus from central Kathmandu, ask to go to Dakshinkali temple, and enjoy the crazy ride in the mountains around Kathmandu.
The temple itself is small, and you will see rivers of blood flowing around the place where they kill the goats, open them and cut pieces of them for the sacrifice ritual.
Enjoy also the tour around the place, it's a nice hill side area.
Recommended for the blood lovers ;)
