Dahshur Overview

Perhaps one or two hours away from Cairo, Dashur can be reached by hiring a taxi. One can purchase a ticket to enter Dashur for one's self at a ticket booth with marked prices, (student tickets are an available option). Also one will probably have to pay a small fee for the taxi.

Dahshur is home to the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. The pyramids are subject to closing depending upon the archeological work being done at that given time. Dahshur also presents wondrous views of several smaller pyramids that cannot be entered.
