Daf Museum Eindhoven
Daf Museum Eindhoven Reviews
Daf Museum; The birthplace of Daf Dec 28, 2008
This museum was opened to the public in 1993.
It`s a nice and surprising museum with a lot of trucks, cars and race cars with the most spectacular constructions. In the past Daf cars also performed successfully in motor sport competitions and the museum exhibits a number of unique models, such as one of the two Daf`s 55 in which Rob Slotemaker and David van lennep completed The Gruelling London-to-Sydney Marathon in 1968. You can see about 40 trucks, from the very first till the modern vehicles. Even without any special knowledge about these subjects, like me, it`s great to see the characteristic Daf`s from 1928 till the present day. The Daf museum will take you from one surprise to the next and offers you a lot of information, also, in English, on it`s website. It`s really worth a visit for a few hours. |
