Why Daejeon? Well, I wanted to get away and see something other than Seoul mostly. Would you believe I've spent around 6 months in Korea all up and never been outside of Seoul.. The most successful World Cup in U.S. history. This was my 3rd World Cup, second with the U.S. Team. It was quite a ride as this was our most successful showing ever at a World Cup with a run to the quarterfinals vs Germany.

Took a 1 hr bus ride from Seoul to Daejeon.  We missed the last bus from the bus station in Seoul, so some shady guy was grabbing all the "late" people and took us to his chartered bus.  Stayed the night at KAIST.  Small town out in central South Korea.  Lost of rice fields around.
