I grew up in Dallas but seldom fly out of DFW.  I love the airport.  You can park close.  Walk in and get through security fairly quickly and be at your gate really fast.  They have vallet parking if you are a Big Timer but on this day I parked my old red pickup and walked in.  Living in Austin I connect in DFW sometimes but rarely originate here.  At this point of the trip I was really wondering why I didn't drive to Dallas more often.  It's only a little...

It has only been two days but as you can tell they were a busy two days.I got up early and had my last breakfast on the island at the "Coffee Bean" and then went back to the hotel to say goodbye to Mayte and the gang, check out and return my car and head to the airport for my return to Dallas.It was as always a great time and I miss living on the island so much that I just know that someday I will make my way back and retire there.
