Momo kingdom Jan 22, 2013
I've eatin' here once with my boyfriend back in 2010.

This tiny momo house was a treat, very cheap and very slow service, but nice atmosphere.

You have a selection of different momos to chose from.

By the time I went there, it was low season, so there wasn't that many people, but the place was welcoming and easy going.

The food is cheap.

Without doubt the best food in Nepal May 08, 2011
This tiny restaurant was probably responsible for delaying the start of my trek and also keeping me in Pokhara for much longer than I ever intended upon my return.

That was not just for the food, which is an excellent mixed menu of Nepal/Tibetan/Japanese,but because it seemed to be the most sociable place I have encountered on my travels so far.The small size of the place(4 tables only)and it's popularity means that you are forced to join others already seated if you want to eat at all. Add to this the VERY slow service as the one cook struggles to keep up with orders and you have a perfect recipe for meeting fellow travellers and swapping stories.

I met some people there that ended up good friends(including my trekking Partner Arika)and others that seemed that way even if it was just the hour we dined together.

If you are looking for swift service and some quiet time then it isn't perhaps the best place for you(I never went there myself if I had anything planned for a certain time in the day )but if not then this place is an absolute must to visit. The family that runs it is very friendly and accommodating, they didn't even mind one night when we proceeded to cross the road to buy bottle after bottle of cheaper whiskey and drink them with our meal !

By the way the veg tentuk and fixed breakfast were the best for me .
Not me obviously lol
