Here is my 2006 trip in Europe.

In a perfect world with no flight cancellations or delays, and where someone could hop from plane to plane within 15 minutes, how many countries can a person visit in the shortest possible time? Here's one possibility using July 2006 timetables.

London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Rome and Venice. Amazing cities, and we stayed as hostels and hotels, mainly flying from place to place which was quite a bit cheaper than taking the train in many of the places that we traveled to in Europe.

Prague is so beautiful, I cannot believe how nice it is, it is like stepping back in time, medieval almost. we arrived in the arvo on friday and went to the most bizarre club, csomething like tim burtons imagination! today we went up to the castle, which is one of the biggest fortifications in europe! then we went through the cathederal and a canal cruise. then i went to the communist musuem and went shopping! then to another club the biggest in europe.   Missing you all Shara

The journey to Prague was a little bit crazy. Our flight didnt leave Amsterdam until 9:30pm, and arrived in Prague at 11. So we were a bit rushed to find our way to the hostel, as buses stop running at midnight! We got lucky though, and after a small detour (took a tram the wrong direction) we found the Czech Inn. Hooray, 24-hour check in at the Czech Inn! The hostel is gorgeous, more like a hotel with 10 strangers in your room. We dropped our stuff and hit the sack right away. Day 1 Prague ...

So let me start by saying, would you believe we actually made the train to Prague??? I know, there’s a first time for everything!!! The last evening at the hostel was cool, all the randoms sitting around having drinks with us, it was like our very own farewell party chock full of vodka shots! We probably should have had one or two less since we had to find the train and everything, but oh well! Found the train, found a cabin and settled in only to find that we were accidentally sitt...

taking the train from dresden. so happy to be warm and cozy. took a little nap but still woke up feeling sooo tired. i was sick the whole time in prague but the beauty of the city beckons and i mustered enough energy to walk its cobbled streets, drink the best beer, eat goulash/ring cake, watch the changing of the guards and walk in wonder as snow enveloped the city...

I think between Vienna and Prague, I have more photos from Prague. I also liked Prague. Again, so much history and the architectures are amazing. But Prague is still a very young Euro state as well I thought. Not much advancement in anything but far advanced compared to Budapest. The people are a lot friendlier in Prague and they are willing to help even though they cannot speak English. Everything in Prague is also within walking distance of each other so it was nice. We had a wonderful time in Prague - getting out of Prague is a different story. But first things first. After our scary experience getting to a nice hostel, and then a nice dinner, we went straight to bed. In the morning, we tried vainly to find the attractions listed in our guide book. The issue was that our hotel and the main train station weren't on the map in our guide book, so we didn't have a point of reference. Eventually we decided to get on the subway and just guess. Trips 1 of 4 to Prague and Czech.  Too much fun and too much drinking...  I'll leave it at that...  Oh yeah, I have to brag about this.  We were staying at a coworker's place that was about 50 yards away from Old Town Square!!! Awesome!

Even if you can't speak the language you can still point to what you want. This is my 2007 trip with 3 days each in Paris, Berlin, and dream spot for years Prague. Minor mishaps and major impressions were felt by all. Thanks to my best buddy Su for hopping on this adventure with me and putting up with the gimp!
