I went to Prague with my bf during the Summer of 2008

Short weekend visit in Prague was very exciting and funny ...

I was mesmerized by the medieval atmosphere of Prague. There was definitely an abundance of nightlife and I took complete advantage of it.

This past weekend, I went to visit my friends in Melnik, Veronika and Jirka. They are my very favorite couple! Getting married in about three weeks! :) They'll become parents very soon, too!!! :) We had a nice lunch and then, despite the weather was extremely hot and the sun was shining hard, we went out to pick blueberries. We returned with a bunch of mushrooms instead. Edible, no worries, we gipsy people know what we're doing! ;)

This was an amazing plane trip that I did over Czech Republic;)

lets launch right in, k? the mister and i were gone for about 10 days gallavanting throughout the czech republic, and then onto a 3 day "end of trip- gorge on pieces of pizza the size of your face" jaunt to venice. lets just get this out there. i spent a few days about 5 years ago backpacking through venice on my own (during my one month "carolyn does italy" backpacking extravaganza after i did my study abroad in england, where i lived on 2 packs of pringles for about 10 days. that damn excha...

We are doing the brewery tour at 11 this morning and then catching a train to Budejovice later so we packed up our gear, locked it up and left it in the room and headed out to the brewery.  It's an old brewery that's been upgraded over time as new owners have taken control.  Unfortunately we were the only english speakers there so the guide spent 5 minutes explaining things in Czech and then gave us the short version in 1 minute.  It was good to go through it all includin...

All the places i've graced with my presence so far haha

I received a message from my friend that he and his friends are planning a trip to Prague for a week and if I like to meet them there. I also had the week-end off so I got on the flight from Cologne to Prague, when I arrived at the airport he was not there to pick me up ..... "hmmm what hotel again did he say they are staying in?"

This was my first solo international travel experience, but I ended up having a blast. Prague is such an amazing city, and there were so many great places to see in the 2 and half days I spent there. Although it was February, and maybe a bit chilly, it was still a perfect time to get out and see the city without dealing with all the crowds. I highly recommend a trip to Prague to all fellow travelers.

On our way to Germany we decided to drive also to Czech Republic and to Prague.. To town that many people love so much.. And I'm not surprised that they love it.. Some people like something more than others. That's why it's always better to go and check it up by yourself. Well, Czech wasn't so amazing to me. Prague was actually really "old" town.. There was lots of black and brown iron and I didn't like it so much.. Yes, I love old things, but that was too much to me. Iron is not beautif...
