Cuyabeno is one of the national parks in Ecuador. it is situated in the amazon rainforest and it has a great variety of flora and fauna.
one of the most spectacular places there is the "great lagoon", it is some square meter vast and filled only with rainwater. you can fish Piranhas, swim and watch an absolut awesome sunset there.

My first travel to Ecuador. It was so amazing, that i decided to go back to learn spanish...(See Blog Ecuador 2007). I was travelling with a group of 16 swiss people...and i was definitely the youngest one...hahaha. it was a great time, but won't do it again in group!

I went for 6 mounts to Ecuador, to work and to learn Spanish. The first 2 months i was in Quito on a Spanish school, after that i went to Peru for 2 weeks and also to Colombia (Bogotá) for a month. After that i went back to Quito where i started to teach English to small children.
