Just a few pictures from previous trips

This is the Peru trip i was fortunate to go on! I traveled with 2 good friends: Jonathan and Andy. There was action, suspence, adventure...

I traveled for about 5 months. I started in Brazil where i relaxed on the beach after a long period of graduating and hard work for 8 months, then continued to Argentina, back to Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, back to Peru :), Cuba, Mexico, United States, Peru (!) to end in United States

Not a good start other than meeting Hot Suzie and Karen off to Prague. Isn`t that where stag lads go for a good time! Margaret´s watch battery went flat (another chore now fixed), we just managed final call on the flight to Heathrow, the cava was warm and then us seasoned travellers forgot our ins…

We arrived in Cusco very tired after two flights to get there from Buenos Aires.  We had gone from almost sea level in Buenos Aires to about 3000meter above sea level in Cusco.  The change in altitude definitley showed.  The steps up to our hostel, Loki hostel were a real killer…

This 4 day greuling hike through the Peruvian Andes Mountains is a lot more than bargained for. Trust me, you're going to want to prepare for this one with some leg and cardio workouts unless you have some sort of innate "pain is only in your head" spirit. The Incas were known to have strong genes and muscular agility. This becomes obvious when on the first day, you see a set of ancient steps about 1.5 feet high each stretching high at a 45° angle. And that's only within the first 2 hours

This was my quick trip to peru. Spent 9 days, visited Cuzco, Macchu Picchu, Aerequipa, and the Cocla Canyon/Valley

Went to the Cathedral in the morning and then caught up with the others, to watchthe perade goign on in the main saure. A variety of different school groups appeared to be there ( poor kids having to do stuff for school on a sunday) and some regiment of Peruvian soldiers who seemed to have not both…

So after another night bus journey we get to Cusco. We head to our hostel which is up a decent size hill, walking up there was quite a mission at 3600 metres above sea level I can tell you. But we made it and chilled before heading in to town to have a look round. Quite a cool place with a main squ…

Pictures of my stay in Lima, the capital of about 9.5 million, and the main tourist city of Cusco, to see Machu Picchu. Taxi's are super cheap! No one really speaks English outside of tourist areas so know at least a little Spanish. Make sure to see the coast and walk along the parks! The main Peruvian food is Ceviche, just remember it is raw fish so if thats not your thing try lomo saltado! Bottled water is a must, even for brushing your teeth!

Visiting my family and revisiting the land of my ancestors for the 2nd time.

Spent a month in Peru and Bolivia. Started in Lima and went along the coast to Arequipa. Traveled north to Cusco and then into La Paz, Bolivia.
