Curve Restaurant & Bar Sydney Reviews
Good, afforadable food in Sydney Jul 25, 2011
As I found out, Sydney is an expensive place to eat, sleep, or get around in. During my time there I looked for various places to eat that wouldn't break the bank. In general, a sit-down meal would cost about $20 - $30 per person, sometimes more, unless you were only eating fast food.
The hotel that I stayed in, Travelodge, suggested Curve restaurant.
I ate a Curve a number of times, both for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast, depending on what you wanted, costs between $8 AUD and $15 AUD. I had quite a hearty breakfast for $15 that included eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, potatoes, and fruit.
Lunch costs the same each day and was $12.50 AUD. This included a sandwich, chips (fries), a small salad, and your choice of 2 beers, wine, or a soft drink. I tried the local beers, which were served very cold in a frosted glass. The food was good, in every case, served hot, and the service was fast and friendly.
I most certainly recommend this restaurant for the budget conscious traveler. Good food. Good price.
