Currency exchange

Eventhough you can pay with dollars in most of the places, it is recomendable to get some local coin. Depending where you are, sometimes they charge you 10US$ for something that costs 1000 tanzanian chill…. If you go to a nice hotel like the Serena Lodges, they have a good currency Exchange rate, so dont worry, just take US$ with you until you get there.
Currency Exchange (Tanzania): 1200 tazanian is 10 dollars.
Currency Exchange (Kenia): Divide the amount /60 and you will get the corresponding US$.
