Curd is made from buffalo milk which is fermented and as it is higher in fat it gives it a thick consistency. The curd is usually served in clay pots and stays edible for several days prolonged by cooling in the fridge.

This restaurant serves curd with kithul treacle which is sweeter then honey and cheaper then honey. The food served here is acceptable not brilliant. Good for breakfast enjoy fresh fruits with curd or they serve other sri lankan breakfast delicacies like string hoppers or egg hoppers. The seating is indoor and outdoor a nice place to people watch although I remeber it can get a bit dusty it is generally reasonably priced.
