Cumberland Pencil Museum Lake District Reviews
To please the chappy :) Feb 11, 2012
This was at the top of the list of places to visit when we visited the Lakes. Whilst it advertises the "world's largest pencil", we found out on our return that there's been at least 2 bigger ones since. However, its an enchanting little museum with lovely displays of all the different products since the factory began. Situated in front of the old factory, the museum is in a better state of repair - the factory looks derelict and takes away something of pleasure. Despite this, so glad we went - you get a free pencil too!
