Culver City Vacation Guide
Downtown Culver City, which you have probably never heard of unless you live in LA (and even then, maybe not), is an up and coming area of LA that would be interesting to young people visiting LA.
It's not Hollywood or Venice Beach, but it will probably give you a better insider taste of LA than any of those other places will.
There are tons of bars and restaurants in the downtown area, all within walking distance. At night, there are lots of young professionals out, enjoying outdoor dining or bar-hopping.
There is plenty of parking, and it seems less pretentious than many other parts of LA. The fact that you can actually walk around from place to place, even if there are only a few places to walk to, is a rare rare novelty in LA.
In a few years, this place is likely to be overrun with people, making traffic and parking a stressful hassle like most other places in LA, so check this neighborhood out and enjoy it while it lasts!
