Cullen beach is one of the best beaches in the area - the town of Cullen itself is typical of a North East scotland ex-fishing village. The old seatown houses down next to the harbour with the more modern town stretchign up the gentle hill. The old coastal railway ran through Cullen and you can still see the magnificent viaducts which span the geographical gaps in the town.
Also has the best ice-cream shop in North East Scotland !!

Findliter castle - around 5 miles along the coast from Cullen (East) is Finliter castle - an old deralict castle which was built on a piece of land jutting out into the sea - a fantastic place to explore with some excellent opportunities for good photos.
