After a long bus ride from Bu-crap-amaranga and not arriving here until 7pm we had to face the fact that we were going to have to stop the night in Cucuta. Its a shithole. So we just went to bed, got up early and headed for the border.

Leaving Merida early in the morning I caught a mini-bus for San
Cristobal a five hour ride through some winding mountain roads. A quick
change of mini-buses later and I was on yet another even smaller
mini-bus for the hour and half ride to San Antonio, the Venezuelan town
