I had an amazing vacation with my family at Cuba. We stayed a few days in La Habana and a couple of days in Varadero. The beaches were amazing, the food was good.
In general it is a good place to relax.

Guardalavaca, Cuba -› Holguin, Cuba -› …
I finally managed to get to Cuba. We stayed in the south east near Holguin at the Occidental Grand Playa Turquesa. The country was fantastic and everyone was so friendly and helpful but if it is sun you are after don't go in January/ February as this is the coldest time of the year there with mimimal sun and scattered showers.

Was lucky enough to spend 2 weeks near Guadalavaca, Holguin @ the Playa Pesqeuro. Had the best 2 weeks of my life, Horseriding, Speed boating, off roading, swimming with dolphins!!!!!

I was of the impression that the Korda's image of Che, was basically a fashion statement and iconic representation of rebellion and revolution in countries OUTSIDE of Cuba and that the Cuabanos themselves would just see him as Commandante Guevarra and his legacy taught from history books …
