I visited Cuba in 2005.I went to a large hotel in Varadero,a tourist-based town with very little of the real Cuba.However, if you like the beach, it is fabulous here. I also visited Havana during my stay in Cuba.Away from Varadero,the poverty becomes evident & people beg even though by law they're not allowed to bother tourists.Havana is a city full of old Spanish architecture & buildings,many of which have fallen into disrepair. The Cuban people are some of the friendliest I have ever met.

This was my first time to go South and I was really excited to just relax and take some sun while drinking my pina colada... :) It is not a sin to be pampered sometimes :p

havana is amazing! the people are happy, mellow, very friendly. between the many bars with live salsa music, mohitos and cigars, the beautiful old american cars, the 50-year celebrations of castro's revolution(!) with cuban flags everywhere, havana leaves its mark. many beautiful, old, most falling apart, aristocratic buildings. it's like traveling in the past! great party at the clubs all night! also visited the beach of varadero. nice warm weather!

Went to Cuba for some sun and salsa. And rum.

Visited the beautiful and fascinating Island of Cuba with my friend Lacky. The plan was to stay 7 nights in Havana and 3 night in Varadero but after 1 night in Varadero we returned to Havana - we missed it that much!

The ten hour flight took forever at some points, yet was almost over before we knew it. I checked the overhead TV screens once an hour, every hour. Not by keeping time, oh no. It's just that every time I wondered how much time had past and how long before we would reach our destination, I looke…

This is a great show, at a club in a fabulous setting. An open-air venue built at a farm on the outskirts of Havana. The stage and auditorium are surrounded by trees. The lighting is fantastic, the huge orchestra is outstanding and the show itself is unforgettable. Wonderful dancers and singers…

  I´m tired of the city life, summer´s on the run.  People tell me I should stay, but I got to get some fun.  So don´t try and hold me back.  Aint nothing you can say.  Snake eyes on the paradise, and we´ve got to go today.......Take to me to April Sun In Cuba....ohoho…
