Crystal Hostel

As in 2007 I have just finished another stay at the Crystal. Many great improvements, more rooms, a wonderful deck on top of second floor addition. Very cool breeze at night. No problems with water,contuous supply of electricity. Tro Tro access within 100 meters of facility and cabs available outside the gate. Fresh fruit on street, bananas, coconut, pineapple, oranges, etc. need something made from wonderful fabric acquired from Keneshie market or Makola Market? Available, ask Auntie, need any other wise advice ask Auntie. I trveled out leasing my room for the month. Never were my goods disturbed. Ghanian people around the hostel are helpful as well as protective. Give a smile and hello and you will get more than a wonderful smile and warm greeting, you will gain their friendship. Need your clothes washed, ask the resident laundry lady and for one Cedi, about seventy five cents in American money you egt an armload washed, I stayed clean and proper at all times. Food is easily found at eating spots near the hostel, never did I get sick from eating same as these good people are well versed in sanitation. 30 days went by very quickly and made possible by this hostel the Crystal. Last but not least you will meat wonderful people from Europe, North and South America as well as from other parts of Africa such as Niger and Cameroon. Thank you Crystal Hostel for helping make my visit one to remember.

My daughter and I spent June of 2007 at the Crystal. Seth and Naomi, owners, are very honest, carrying, good people who make your stay real, interesting, full of valuable information. I am returning from middle of May 2009 thru Middle of June 2009. I will write a current review upon my return. In a forest of black faces I walked forth with a shining white face, accepting what entered my eyes.
