Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur

The first time we stayed in Mutiara Hotels and Resort in 2003, the remodelling process was still in progress.
We had a free upgrade to higher level room with Petronas Twin Towers view.
The bathroom was very special with open design and separate rain-shower.
We enjoy the afternoon hours in the hotel on the day of our arrival.
As we went out for dinner at KLCC, we had a pleasant and funny experience as we returned to our room.
We had a note at the door saying our room had night service.
Puzzled? We looked at each other wondering what it meant.
We loved and wondered whether they provided free “massage services”?
Still giggling, we opened our door and found out Night Service actually meant that hotel staff prepared the room for the night!
The curtains were closed, the bed cover was corner fold and they added flowers on the pillows and refilled of the fruit basket.
This was a pleasant surprised and nice attention.
With our curiosity satisfied, we round up our evening with a rejuvenating bath!

In 2005 we visited KL again and could only think of staying once again what is now called the Crowne Plaza Mutiara.
Even though is 2 years later, the room still looked very appealing.
However with the changed of management the little details like the free fruit basket and ‘Night Service’ were dropped.
However we still think that Crowne Plaza Mutiara is a lovely hotel in a good location close to KLCC, monorail station right in front of the hotel, also nearby to the night life happening area!
