Very convenient Mar 05, 2013
We had two nights here, as it was in a convenient location for us on this occasion. The room was large, clean and modern, the bed comfortable. Great views toward the City. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. There is underground parking which was a bonus for us.

The only negative was the poor quality breakfast, which is expensive for what you get, we did not have it on the second morning. Improve the breakfast, and it will be a really good place to stay for a couple of nights!

Good quality hotel in the Shoreditch area of London Dec 21, 2012
The hotel is roughly a ten minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street station and is located on Shoreditch High Street. The area looked to have a lot of bars and is close to Brick Lane and Spitalfields market; unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore as we had plans for Oxford Street, Camden and the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. The bus also runs from Liverpool Lime Street to near the hotel and costs just over £2 for a single ticket.

We paid £104 for a twin room including breakfast, on arrival we received a friendly greeting and were told that we had been upgraded to a deluxe room, wake up calls were offered and we had a chat about the area, a very helpful and pleasant arrival.

Heading on up to the 2nd floor our room was very spacious, modern and clean. Complementary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, biscuits and 2 small chocolates were provided. A mini bar, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, shampoo, shower gel and soap were all in the room. The beds/pillows were very soft and comfy, an extra duvet was also given on request (my friend was frozen after a cold night at the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland), 2 extra pillows were in the wardrobe but we didn’t need to use them.

Our view from the room was of the Gerkin and the street below. A little noise from a busy bar could be heard later on in the evening but I soon drifted off and slept like a log until our morning wake up call.

Breakfast was very busy but they had us seated after a short wait.

Drinks offered - Tea, coffee and juices.

Food offered - English breakfast, toast, cereal, yoghurts, croissants, pastries, jams, muffins, fruit, cold meats etc

There was plenty of choice and it was good quality food, however the warm food was a little on the cold side for me, maybe it had been sat a while. The yoghurts and cereals were very nice though.

The restaurant is on the top floor and again has views of the Gerkin and the financial district.

Overall this is a great hotel if you want to stay in the Shoreditch area and don’t mind a ten minute walk to the tube. If you want to stay in a central hotel and be within walking distance from the attractions this is probably not ideal.

Reasonable hotel in London Oct 12, 2009
My girlfiend and I stayed here for the weekend, not being overly familiar with London we opted for here. The staff were very helpful when we were asking for advice on where to eat at night and where to go for drinks in the area. They also checked us in early, think the stated time was about 2 or 3 pm and we arrived at 11 am, which was nice.

The room was of a reasonable size and the bathroom was pretty big too.

The room was kept clean throughout our stay.

The only negative I had for it was the location, while not a long way from an underground station it was still about half a mile from the train station, I prefer to stay a bit closer to the transport links in London, but it wasn't a big deal really.

It was more expensive than I would have liked however I think it was a fair price for London and the area in general.

Overall we had a nice stay there and would recommend it for others.
