The Crown Plaza gave us the best hotel experience in the UK and France! Yes, you are going to pay a little more for your room, but 150 pounds for a 5 star is well worth it. The rooms have 12 ft high ceilings with crown molding, the floors are hardwood. The beds are all king size. You have at least six windows looking down to a beautiful courtyard. The bathrooms were bigger than our hotels in Paris. Separate shower and bath. Huge marble sinks, heated towel racks. The front desk was also extremely nice. Our room took a little longer to get ready so they have us a complimentary bottle of wine.
