Standard Room Feb 16, 2009
Crown Plaza in Darwin, Australia. This hotel is in the city but i think i should called Town. only 1 small street and even know where is the city till pppls there told me. At least got some nice restaurant and Beer plus big supermarket.

Caught a lift back to Broome on Friday nice and early with a local Derby family I had met the day before at their Art Gallery.....thanks guys.... and caught flight from Broome airport arriving in Darwin about 2.30 p.m.

Soon the cabins lights were on & we were descending into Darwin in the dark. It was strange, and the landing caught me by surprise having thought we were still much higher. The landing was beautifully soft. Through security, baggage reclaim and …… Strange but Good. |
