Crowne Plaza Hotel Abu Dhabi

After a very long trip, I arrived late at Crowne Plaza - Hamdan Street, AD. I felt immediately very welcome. The professionalism and authenticity of the person at the reception desk made me feel better immediately. Got a great room. Bed and pillows are uncomparable (they even offer you specific pillows to your needs - firmer, softer or to feel refreshed ;-). Water (no it is not obvious, some high standard hotel don't provide water), plate of fruits in the room and welcome drink. Professionalism all around the hôtel, bar, breakfast and restaurant. Excellent and not expansive diner at Cho Gao (the Asian restaurant of the hotel). Wake up call and check out very early were made so easy (compared to other hotels in the world...).

My 2 nights stay helped me to come home refreshed, all the tiredness of the long trip gone in this wonderful stay. Definitely a place where I will stay every time I am in Abu Dhabi.

For an out of town escapade without to spend a long hour drive this place is heaven for me.

Since the season for Formula One have just ended when we checked in the hotel and the summer have just started. The rate has fall low. We grab the opportunity check in for a weekend get-away.

The location has a beautiful overview of the preserved lake as they called. This is actually a sanctuary for birds and other species that are considered endangered to the gulf region. The vast space lawn provides an ocean of different hue but grasses.

The main lobby of the hotel is very unique with its ceiling that creates a fan wind.

The pool and bar at night is inspired to the royal bath of the roman empire. I love the private balcony and the trellis it provides. The open air from the pool side is breath taking. Another option of the hotel is to share the pool with the neighboring hotel apartment. The fitness gym and health spa is just good enough for the guest and the access it provide is very convenient from the rooms to the elevator.

The staffs are well trained and very prompt.

The parking in the basement of the hotel is very accessible to the guest.

I recommend this hotel for a visit at Yas Island. I will definitely go back to this place on any holidays soon.

The hotel can be a little expensive during their "peak" season, but otherwise the price isn't bad. I was given a free upgrade to the executive suite. Rooms were nice. Really great pub downstairs with good food and great bar...plus wifi. Ate at all the restaurants in the hotel. They were all good and reasonably priced. Location was great also, with a store and some restaurants right behind it. The staff was absolutely amazing and even gave me a short tour of the hotel. They have done serious upgrades, so you can probably ignore any older posts on this hotel. This has been one of my more pleasant hotel experiences. Generally most hotels in Abu Dhabi are pretty nice.
