Out of the way May 04, 2013
This was out of the way and not close to anything. When the three of us turned up there quite late in the evening, with our three suitcases and carry on luggage (we were travelling for seven weeks)we struggled to get out luggage out of the taxi, when we had all got our luggage from the cab and finally got it arranged to move it inside, it was then that a bellman appeared and asked if we needed a hand, he took one suitcase inside. The lady at the desk was not very accommodating and we did not feel very welcomed, she did not tell us where the restaurant was if we wanted to purchase breakfast in the mornings. The room was tiny but the beds were OK. The bathroom was quite large and roomy. The man behind the bar was quite helpful when we were waiting to use a computer to print out boarding passes on the last evening we were there.

Excellent choice May 22, 2012
Stayed here at the Crowne Plaza for two weeks April to May. On checking in I was told thee King Room I had booked was not available so I was given a double bedded room on the 11the Priority floor.

The views were wonderful and I was not complaining as a friend was due to visit for a couple of days from Chicago and meant she would have her own bed.

My whole experience of theis hotel, the staff, the room, the location thee cleanliness and quality of was EXCELLENT! Beverly Hills is a beautiful location and from my visit to the area the previous year I knew wanted to stay there.

The service and friendliness of the staff was unfaultable and they really are some of thee friendliest hotel staff I have met in some time going that extra mile to make sure your stay is flawless.

The whole hotel was of a very good standard and well maintained and felt like home from home.

I have to mention sometheing I forgot to pass onto the staff due to being very busy enjoying LA.

I am more of a bath than a shower person and after three days of staying at the hotel I noticed I kept getting deep slices over my thumb and finger. After getting into the bath on the third day and attempting to secure the metal plug in the bath, I realised I had got more cuts across my finger and thumb, the cuts were quite deep and had been caused by the sharp metal around the plug.

It was a problem for me at the time because the cuts hurt and were deep which meant I could not bend my thumb properly but they healed quickly.

I did find that the food the restaurant offered was very pricey which is the main reason I ate breakfast only the once in the hotel, again this was not a major problem for me as there were so many good restaurants in the area and I wanted to be out and about.

In summary I would most definitely recommend the Crowne Plaza to anyone not only wanting a excellent priced hotel in a exclusive area but who also wish to stay in comfort and style.

Be careful with online reservations Dec 27, 2008
Be careful when u make a reservation at Crowne Plaza´s website.

I made a reservation asking one room for 5 people and it´s accepted. When I reached the front desk they said that our reservation was not possible cuz the room was only for 4 people so they would charge for the extra guest. The problem was not the money but if the web site allowed to make the reservation it´s not fair to pay for the extra guest.

After 30 minutes the manager put an extra bed in the room for free and said: next time u call us before arriving to check ur room possibility. My friend said: next time u talk to ur online reservation cuz it´s ur problem not mine...

Well.. The room was small for 5 people.. Even for 4 people... The bed was ok and the bathroom was small too... No breakfast included... The parking lot is 22 dollares per day at self park that is next to the hotel...

The localization is ok cuz eveywhere u go in LA u have to drive anyway...

I say that this hotel is ok.. Nothing special... For sure I prefer the Holiday Inn Express at La Jolla...

Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills Aug 09, 2008
Luxury hotel in a luxurious place for a luxirious price. I stayed...wait..I lived...in this hotel for a month! It was great. The people were very nice and welcoming. It is very close to the famous Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Hills Mall, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Sunset Boulevard, and so on...and yet away from all the hustle and bustle. It is in a very quiet neighborhood near Universal Studios and walking distance to the Museum of Tolerance. It is also accessbile to Santa Monica Pier by car or bus.

Affordable, relaxing and ejoyable Oct 01, 2005
This hotel is good for people that do not want to be in the 'frenzy' of L.A. There was buses that passed by and of course, taxi's available at the door. The consierge was very helpful. Carparking was at a cost. We stayed there because our travel agent booked it for us. We didn't have a problem with the hotel, we had a nice clean room. There was a swimming pool on site. There was a restaurant that we didn't use. Also there was a bar area in an area that was used for breakfast. However, in this area you could also buy meals like pizza or crumbed chicken. Good food when you don't feel like having anything flash. We sat and had drinks there. We were within easy walking distance of a couple of restaurants. The consierge was very helpful. We proberbly won't stay there next time as we would like to be some where closer to the "buzz"
