Crown Princess Hotel Kuala Lumpur

We stayed at this hotel for five nights, arriving at morning. We've already booked hotel rooms through internet. The white building could be seen from a far distance, looks nice and tall. You can see the building but you just cant find the entrance. Just dont understand why the main entrance is via an tiny narrow back lane...
The checking in and was a bit slow. The room was quite big, no problems with the bed or bathroom. Although, the bathroom could use a little renovation. They claim themsleves 5 star, and price a bit expensive but I'll rate them 3 or 3 and half star.The bedding was clean although the spare pillow in the wardrobe. A bowl of fruit was on the coffee table but the fridge was empty. The digital locker in wardrobe was out of order.
The hotel occupies the upper storeys of a 15 year old building and the whole block is badly in need of some maintenance. The lower floors house what is left of a shopping centre. Half the shops have now moved on and many units are lying empty. There is a 7 Eleven which was handy for buying some eatable stuff. Breakfast is served in this lounge for Club guests and was adequate with the eggs being cooked freshly to order. The pool of this hotel was ok. The Club Room allowed us access to the Club Lounge on the top floor. Here one could use internet and complementary beverages served there.
The best thing of this hotel was its location easily approchable. So far as location goes the hotel is within walking distance of the KLCC and only a short and cheap taxi ride from most of the other main areas. Another thing which i liked was view of twin tower and city from my room
