The Czech travel system works really well. There are zebra crossings everywhere - USE THEM!

Most crossings have a pedestrian crossing light and you don't have to press any button. They work with the traffic lights. When the lights go red, the pedestrian crossing goes green. You can hear the ticking of a timer as you stand next to the crossing, it counts down the traffic light and then it gets faster when the pedestrian crossing light is on.

Those crossings without lights work like our own system - car will allow you to cross so, if you are crossing, they will stop.

You can't always get to the other side easily, sometimes you have to cross 3 times to get to the other side, but that doesn't happen very often!

Be safe and use the crossings, there are trams and cars using the same routes!

In Rome we attached ourselves to an older person... somehow they glared down the cars and crossed.... We stood forever until we started doing this...

Good information on your review. sylvia
