Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary Travel Reviews

540 species of Birds! Mar 17, 2008
Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Crooked Tree in the Belize District. It is an incredibly small town filled with wonderful people who are very knowledgeable about birds. The guides that you can hire are cheap and absolutely amazing. They know their birds and can identify them by the sound, with their eyes closed, and three miles away. Not only can they identify them, they can spot them and point them out to you.

With many different places quoting different bird numbers, it easy to say the recorded number is at least over 400. This is a must-see place for birders to check out!

Thanks, it really is a very relaxed place, but it is absolutely wonderful, especially if you are a birder!
