This little restaurant in a small street in the Old City of Dubrovnik has delicious food made from excellent ingredients. The menu is good and prices are very reasonable. The gazpacho, the miso soup, the Thai curries, veggies and noodles can all be recommended. I specially enjoyed their falafel. Jus…

Ston has a reputation for seafood and shellfish as it's at the end of the bay inlet. As the salt pans are in this area, the water is obviously lightly salty and high in minerals. Part of our tour included the tour of the mussel and oyster farms as well as seafood sampling at Bota Taverna afterward…

Located second row from the lake promenade, this small restaurant is a gem. Decorated dalmatian style it's cosy and warm. The food is excellent, a little pricey but worth it. Nice staff. Try their homemade cherry brandy and the sugar roasted almonds.
Loved it!

We - my friends and I - visited Novalja, Croatia last summer for a studentholiday (read:cocktails, parties and sunbathing) so after our beachparties we had to eat something so we just picked a restaurant which we thought was ok. That's how we stranded at "La Paloma".

Beautifully located in the park Vruljica, just outside the ACI Marina Zadar. It's one of the more popular places in Zadar. Offers a standard menu with daily specialities. During high season it can be pretty crowded, while off season the menu might be shortened - but that's something you will find in…

One of the largest buildings in the little coastal village of Klek is the three star hotel Plaza. The hotel faces the beach on the most southern part of the bay. The hotel was probably built more than 20 years ago and has this concrete look like many of the buildings from that era have.
The resta…

A typical dalmatian tavern - a konoba - at Split's Riva. If you're looking for a place where the locals meet, and where you can try some traditional home cooking, this is perfect. The menu is standard, the staff nice, the food good and the prices affordable. We were there on a saturday night off sea…

This place is great for a relatively cheap meal in Old Town. They have a window that sells by-the-slice pizza for 10 Kuna, and also a seated area which sells pasta, salads, and of course pizza. The staff was very friendly, we were able to get tap water (for free). I would definitly recommend this…
