Crémerie Skali Oct 26, 2013
Our hotel didn’t have breakfast so we went out to get a bit to eat in the morning next to the central market before we would go and explore the old medina in Fes.

The Crémerie Skali is one of those many small places which sell food and coffee at decent prices - they mainly target the local market but they are happy to see some foreigners dropping by - even people who can’t speak a word of French. So we decide to try some of the original Moroccan breakfast goodies they sold at this place.

I went for a pancake with honey and we tried one small bread like thing made of corn and served with honey. To go a long we had a couple of orange juice and a cup of coffee. The service is never quick at these local places but our food arrived within a reasonable wait and we sat outside watching life go by on the pretty busy Mohammad V Boulevard.
