Crickley Cottage Nigg Reviews
Quaint and Adorable Nov 11, 2010
Crickley Cottage is one of two old farm cottages, and the farm next door is still fully operational. The views from the garden are stunning; you can see across the Cromarty Firth, and right up into the hills (normally covered in snow).
There is room to park 2 cars per cottage in the driveway, and Crickley cottage sleeps up to 6 people. There are two double bedrooms (one with a full en-suite), and a twin bedroom. Downstairs you have a further bathroom with toilet, sink, bath & shower. There is a spacious living area with a tv, dvd and video player.
The kitchen, which is the main entrance to the cottage is fully fitted with everything you need; fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher; it also has a table with chairs so you can sit and have meals.
As previously said, the views from the garden are stunning, and if you go around the front of the cottage there is a small paved patio area; and furniture is stored in a cupboard under the stairs if you want to sit out.
Only a 10 minute drive from Tain, and roughly 45 minutes to Inverness, Crickley Cottage is far enough out to have peace and quiet, but close enough to be able to explore the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
