Cremona is a quiet and cosy town of northern Italy in Lombardy located east of Milano.
This city of around 70,000 inhabitants is well worth a visit and has always been a major centre in musical history.Birthplace of the composer Claudio Monteverdi,the town is famous for its musical instruments manufacture in particular violins.Andrea Amati and later Guarneri,Stradivari are the most popular and the tradition is today still alive.
