Creative Mexicana Sharm Resort Sharm el-Sheikh

We have recently returned from a holiday to Egypt - Which was fantastic, We stayed in a hotel called 'Creative Mexicana' Which i believe is a 3 star rating. The rooms are good the hotel itself is beautiful and looks as though it should be 5 star. The food to be honest was not great although we only went bed and breakfast instead of all inc - In which case it wasn't a problem as the supermarket was only a 5 minute drive and the only other slight dissapointment was the bathrooms which i feel could have been at a better standard. There was an internet room, pool table, gym (which was being re-decorated when we went) Hotel restaurant, bar and shops. The staff were also very friendly, helpful and polite. The swimming pools were lovely and kept very clean also. If you're looking for a good quality cheap hotel this is the one, I myself would rate it 4 star, possibly even 5 with a few changes.

A couple of tips though - Please haggle with prices, as soon as they know you're no you are a tourist the prices will be tripled and they WILL eventually sell it for a reasonable price.

Look around before you buy things, almost every shop in egypt will sell the same things - it will give you an idea for prices aswell.

If you dont want to go into a shop either ignore them completely (however rude this may sound it is the only way) or learn a little arabic, as soon as they think you speak arabic you will be left alone. We only learnt this at the end of our holiday. IF ONLY WE HAD KNOWN!

You will not get left alone when you leave the hotel, although it is part of the experience and a fun one at that.

Another country worth going to visit!

OH and if you do go to shaam, and you're wanting to see the pyramids the coach trip to cairo is NOT as bad as people say.
