Romanian Excellence in Barcelona Mar 26, 2009
While you might not think to get Romanian food when your in Barcelona, if you need a break from Tapas or just want to try something that you can't get many places then this restaurant is great to try. While the website, pictures and name made me worried that it would be a little touristy, the food and staff was original. The same family that runs the restaurant also runs a Romanian grocery store and bakery on the same block.

The staff is mainly only skilled in Romanian from a language perspective, but they also have a Spanish menu. It will be tough to get by if you don't speak one of those two languages. Get a soup (Ciorba), some sarmale and papanash for dessert. This will cost you around 22 euros. Easy access from the Sants Estacion also made this restaurant a convenient experience so I hope you enjoy.
