Craig Vacation Guide

Now known as "Elk Hunting Capitol of the World", Craig has become more known to travelers. The busiest times of the year for Craig, are from September through December. Craig has several fast food restaurants and some steak houses and other eateries. There are also several hotels ranging in price from inexpensive to moderately expensive.

Shopping in Craig is limited to Walmart, Kmart and some small "mom & pop" ran specialty shoppes. There is a City Park which includes a wave pool and lap pool, Laudy Simpson Park which includes baseball diamonds, ice skating in the winter, and fishing areas, and the Moffat County Fair Grounds.

There is a bit of a night life in Craig. There is the O.P. Bar and Grill, which has a summer patio. Mather's Bar/The Boardroom is a dance club, bar, steak house, and sports grill. There is also the Popular Bar, JW Snacks, and the Holiday Inn.
