Courtyard Munich City Center Hotel

Hotel was great, staff very friendly. Unfortunately the location is terrible. It is only a few blocks from the train as well as the main center in Munich - the only nice thing about the location. However, the surrounding areas are not very 'acceptable' (and far beyond family friendly). The location was like we were walking in the redlight district with all the strip clubs and casinos all over. It would have been nice to have a better selection of restaurants close by but all there was were small cafes that didn't look very inviting. We did visit the hotel restaurant where staff was nice and food was great. Only issue we ran into was someone from a room a few floors up decided to pour what we hopefully thought looked like beer out their window onto the outdoor shade that hung over the patio. One of the customers got wet and looked a bit puzzled as to what was poured out the window.......I would more than likely never stay at the Courtyard again and pay the extra money to stay in the Marriott on the other side of Munich.
