This hotel is not in Shadyside proper, as the name suggests. Still, its walking distance to Walnut Street with shops and nightlife. The staff is always courteous. One disappointment is that is cost $20 to park my car in their lot! I wouldn't say its a great bargain, but it has the basics covered and is in a pretty good location for visitors to Pittsburgh's East Side.
